[It takes some working up to actually get dressed in clean clothes and leave the house. Really, he didn't have to agree, but he did. Could be a quest, maybe, all this. Why did he mention it being dangerous?

[As promised, he arrives at the Stone Dragon only thirty or so minutes later. He's only seen a picture of Akechi. He glances around, trying to locate him. His hands fiddle anxiously, idly, at the hem of his shirt.]

[There's no appeal to this shop. It lacks of the fabricated image of pop up cafes and the authentic warmth of LeBlanc. The spot is a profound disappoint by the time Sunny appears in his peripheral vision and the opportunity to pull his attention from his phone, to him, is welcome.

The coffee tastes fine though - that's one solace. Nothing like the brew crafted by those that knew his taste so profoundly and-

[Oh. There he is. Sunny waves, but remains standing still for a moment before he seems to remember he needs to come to the table.

[He takes a seat across from Akechi, silent. Doesn't even bother ordering anything for himself.]

The guy's silent. Doesn't say a single thing as he plops to the table, through gesture or otherwise.]

[Well, he fucked up this simple social interaction instantly, huh? He looks a little like a deer in the headlights when Akechi asks about food.

[So, what? He just...gets up and goes to get more now that he's already sat down? Akechi has food. Sunny flinches for lack of something better to do.

[He holds up a finger and leaves to buy a muffin.

[He returns to the table. Remains silent. He's great at this.]

[This is going well.

It's irrelevant in the long run. His care only extends to figuring out if he's a persona user - a small detail in a world full of strange powers. One he would appreciate being aware of. There's been too many wayward persona using teenagers catching him off guard lately.

Up and a way to get a...muffin? That's fantastic. His own coffee growing cold as he watches Sunny's erratic and bizarre movements. Socially awkward and mute, maybe?

[Sunny blinks, looking surprised. Not many people offer that sort of thing; only Kenma so far, really. He nods, pulling out his phone.]

[It's not abnormal for people to look at their phones while chatting - he witnessed it often enough. Was a part of it, sometimes, at work gatherings or even with his brief interludes with the Phantom Thieves.

It's less awkward than sitting across a table, staring from one pair of blank eyes to the other. The question is does he verbally respond or just talk via the phone? Less ears on whatever they say. Not that it matters much when their captor's influence is everywhere.]
